Complete process of Pi Network KYC



Are you a Pi Network pioneer? If yes, then you might have faced problems with Pi network KYC process. Pi KYC is a simple process but a lot of pioneers get confused while filling and submitting the KYC application form.

We will explain the step by step process of pi network KYC application ,so here let's go.

Step 1

Open the pi app , click  three bars in the upper left corner of the home page , you will see the whole menu, click the mainnet icon below the home icon. It will show you the balance dashboard, below the balance dashboard, there is mainnet checklist, click the checklist.. There are total eight steps in the mainnet checklist. You have to complete all of them one by one because it's a prerequisite to the pi KYC and mainnet balance migration.



Steps 2

Click on the first step in the mainnet checklist and download the pi browser application from the IOS app store or play store.


Step 3

Click on the second step i.e create a wallet. When you click, it will automatically bring you to the pi browser sign in page. Now sign in to the pi browser and click on the generate or create a new wallet. The wallet will show you to copy the 24 words passphrase and save it in a safe place in your mobile



Step 4

Now click on the third step in mainnet checklist,I.e confirm wallet. By clicking on this page ,it will open the pi browser application again and it will ask for pasting the 24 words passphrase to confirm your wallet.



Step 5

Now click on the fourth step in the mainnet checklist that is lockup configuration. When you click on this,it will show the lockup configuration by default which will be 3 years..It means that your pi balance migrated balance to the wallet will be locked for three years. You can change it to either 2 weeks , 6 months or 1 year with lockup percentage of 25% ,50% and 90% respectively. Then click on save button at the bottom.



Step 6

Now the main process starts i.e the submission of Pi KYC form.Make sure you have a valid government issued identity vard.Click on the "submit KYC application". It will take you to the pi browser and will ask to sign in to the pi browser. Click on sign in and you will see the different icons e.g wallet, brainstorm, KYC.pi etc.


Click on KYC.pi upload the front and back picturs of your government issued identity card. Fill out all the requirements correctly i.e address details and personal details should be similar as it appears on the identity card. Make no mistake while filling the details. Before submitting,make sure to review the details filled. While submitting the application,it will ask for 1 pi to pay , proceed it by clicking the payment 1 pi button.




Step 7

Wait for KYC results. It will take some time, maybe it get approved in an hour or may take a week or few months. Sometimes it takes years to complete due to incorrect details submission.You can check the status of your application in pi browser's KYC.pi section or in profile in the pi app.When it is approved, proceed to another step i.e sign acknowledgment to receive tokens. Click on the 7th step in the pi mainnet checklist section ,it will ask for 24 words passphrase of your wallet. After putting your wallet passphrase, proceed.



Step 8

Now click on migrate  to mainnet. It will automatically add you to the migration queue. Your balance will be migrated later on. Migration may take from 2 weeks to 4-5 months.
